Noon Hawaii Standard time with temps outside at a balmy 80 degrees
ALOHA! It’s David’s first time in the warm and sunny 50th state and he’s already having a blast!
Here he is looking comfy wearing a tshirt and participating in the OHANA DAY pregame festivities that will lead up to tomorrow’s PRO BOWL appearance at the 50,000 seat Aloha Stadium.

The NFL announced Thursday that they will be joined by more than 600 dancers, drummers and acrobats from across the country, as well as 60 high school cheerleaders from throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Hula dancers from Halau Hula Olana and performers from the dance troupe Ma’ohi Nui will also perform at halftime, and local musician Hoku Zuttermeister will sing Hawaii’s state song, Hawaii Ponoi.
David Archuleta, last year’s American Idol runner-up, will sing the national anthem. He will be joined by football fans and more than 200 military volunteers, and there’ll be a flyover by Hawaii Air National Guard helicopters.

Ah..David must be having a fabulous time. Wearing his lei, enjoying the lovely warm weather and I’m sure that he is just fine with the young pretty cheerleaders, haha…it’s all part of costume and it’s only a picture. He looks happy. Have a blast David, can’t wait to hear your incredible voice again singing the Anthem!
Cmon. Cheerleaders are cheerleaders and it was nice of them to be inclusive of David too. They probably love him like we do. David’s a young adult and around lots of pop artists now who can be very risque, crude, promiscuous, etc. He has chosen to be in these environments and so far has handled himself extremely well. My hope is that he will be the role model for our young teens. He’s on his way.
I’m sure he’s fine too….and happy. I look forward to seeing David on March 16 in Tempe. Hope he sells out.

David deserves a little break in Hawaii. :) An amazing year for an amazing talented young man. We love you David. Awesome job at the Pro-Bowl with the National Anthem. His voice still gives me goosebumps.
